Catalyst Infoshop

The Catalyst Infoshop is a volunteer-run activist center located in Prescott, Arizona. The Catalyst has been serving the needs of Yavapai County's community since 2004. The space runs on a collective structure, with a main collective and subcommittees handling decisions through a consensus process.

On December 7, 2005, Catalyst Infoshop was raided by federal agents and co-proprietor William C. Rodgers was arrested in connection with the investigation of an arson that destroyed the Two Elk Lodge in Vail, Colorado in 1998. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Rodgers was the leader of an eco-terrorist unit within the Earth Liberation Front that caused upwards of $20 million in damage across numerous states. Rodgers committed suicide by self-asphyxiation, in jail, two weeks after his arrest, before standing trial.

The Catalyst Infoshop is currently seeking a new location out of which to operate.
